WHY WHATIFU...........

THE STORY

When my wife, Cheryl, and I decided to move from the east coast back to the upper midwest, our friends and clients asked why, would we do that?  The answer was easy, we wanted to be closer to family.  And when I registered my truck in Wisconsin I got a license plate that said WHATIFU.  Why would I do that? Because I wanted to start conversations in cars that are passing by and I quickly realized it also started conversations as people walked by our project sites, in grocery store parking lots and gave us thumbs up at stop lights.

And then......

My wife, Cheryl, of 34 years was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in December of 2020 with an unknown life expectancy.....so WHATIFU had a whole new meaning.  WHATIFU........experienced the loss of a loved one........WHATIFU...took the day off....WHATIFU.....learned Mandarin Chinese.......WHATIFU...asked someone to dance.....WHATIFU.....told that someone you loved them....WHATIFU......worked 24 hours straight.....WHATIFU....had no idea what lies ahead?

The goal of WHATIFU Wristbands

Cheryl passed away in January of 2023.  My wife and I loved to ride our bikes both on on our local bike path and on bike paths throughout Wisconsin prior to her diagnosis as well as after her diagnoisis.  This is where she felt most free, riding her bike. 100% of the sale of each wristband will be donated to a non-profit focused on promoting mental and physical health through riding a bike.  I also want these wristbands to start daily discussions of the endless possibilities and potential each of us can reach during our lifetime.......thank you for your support.
